🕮 The terminal crisis of capitalism

The essay The Terminal Crisis of Capitalism in printed or electronic versions

The thesis presented here argues that the capitalist system has now entered a phase of terminal crisis.

The first stage in this demonstration is to examine the contradictions of this system, starting with the most classic ones, then proposing some more recent ones.

Liberalism is known for its ability to adapt to the changes in the environment it creates. Therefore, a multitude of workarounds have been established over time to address these contradictions. This is what’s analyzed in a second step.

However, these circumventions cannot completely eliminate these contradictions; moreover, these palliatives themselves generate harmful effects. This conjunction being toxic to the point of making the capitalist system itself unsustainable, as well as the civilizations hosting it. The last part deals with this tragic outcome.
